GreenLightis an independent employee-owned Group providing GP Practice Pharmacist, Community Pharmacy, Education and Training and Consultancy Services.Employee ownershipprovides unique benefits and an exciting future for pharmacy professionals wanting to make a career in general practice.

We are proud of the partnerships and alliances we have developed over 25 years which have enabled us to establish expertise and credibility, now providing a range of educational opportunities for pharmacists and pharmacy teams. One of these partnerships is withBromley-by-Bow Health Partnership (BBHP)to develop GreenLight (GL) @GP, a division of GL.

GL@GPrecruits, employs, trains and supports pharmacy professionals working in General Practice to deliver high quality patient services. We currently deliver services to a number of General Practices and PCNs across Greater London.

We have a reputation for providing pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who are ready to work in general practice by preparing and training them using experienced practice based pharmacists (PBPs) and GP Trainers. We work with the GP partners from BBBHP to enable a training environment for pharmacists and pharmacy professionals.

We also provide Education and Training Practice Pharmacy initiatives to organisations including Training Hubs, Local Education and Training Boards and Higher Education Institutes in London.

Primary Care Services

General Practice Pharmacy Services

  1. Help patients and carers manage prescribed medicines and make shared decisions about their Long Term Conditions (LTCs).
  2. Increase patient knowledge and understanding about their treatments, adherence to medications and consequently have an impact on their health.
  3. Promote multidisciplinary working and inter-professional learning within General Practice.
  4. Link the role of the Pharmacist to gains in the productivity in General Practice e.g. enhancement of GP Practice KPIs, QOF, LES and DES agenda.
  5. Support integration with other healthcare providers and provide appropriate signposting and referrals.
  6. Help with reductions in medicines-related hospital admissions and improve quality of life for patients.
  7. Enable an integrated primary care network between GPs, Community Pharmacists and other allied healthcare professionals.
